Middle Eastern Lamb Lettuce Wraps
Serves 4-6

Ingredients

2 lb ground lamb
2 packs hydroponic bib lettuce
1 red bell pepper diced
1 can mild green chilies diced
3 yellow onions
1 bunch cilantro
1 bunch green onions diced
4 tbss minced ginger
1 tbsp minced garlic
1 cup organic plain yoghur
Rice
1 tbsp garam masala
1 tbsp coriander
1 medium tomato diced
Pinch red pepper flakes (optional)

Preparation

  1. Add lamb, bell pepper, tomato, coriander, garam masala to frying pan on medium heat. Cook until done. Set aside.
  2. Drain juices and place juice back in pan.
  3. Add to blender onions, cilantro, ginger, can green chilies, ¼ cup water. Blend until it’s a smooth paste.
  4. Add paste to frying pan with saved lamb juice. Cook until brown (5 minutes)
  5. Add the lamb and green onions. Cook until hot and mixed.
  6. Remove from heat, add yoghurt.
  7. Serve with rice in lettuce wraps.
